If you’ve ever admired wooden bowls and wondered how to make them, here is your opportunity! We will guide you step by step through the process of turning your own bowl on the lathe with Rockler’s easy-to-use carbide turning tools. You’ll learn about stock selection, chucking, and different bowl finishes. At the end of the day, you’ll have a bowl to take home
Safety Measures We’re Taking to Keep You Safe
Social Distancing - All of our classes have a low capacity of attendees and will allow for social distancing.
Sanitization - Our classrooms, seating areas, and tools are cleaned and disinfected before and after every class. We also have hand sanitizer and disinfectant available to be used during all classes.
Masks - Masks are only required to be worn if required by local ordinances. If you prefer to wear a mask, you can bring your own. If you forget to bring a mask we can provide one free of charge.
Gloves - Gloves will be provided free of charge if any classes require tools to be shared by multiple attendees during the same class. This is not a common occurrence and most of the time, attendees are provided their own tools to use.

Are there any age requirements to participate in the class?

This class can only be registered by attendees, who are 18 years of age or older. To schedule a class for an attendee, who is under the age of 18, please contact your local store for details.

Do I need any safety equipment or special clothing?

Safety glasses will be provided free of charge. No loose clothing should be worn, long sleeves need to be rolled up, long hair needs to be tied back. No open-toed shoes can be worn during classes.
