This fall, join Chef Alec Schingel for The Robin Project, a dinner series residency hosted at Work and Leisure. The Robin Project is Alec's opportunity to explore and share Midwestern Cuisine of the past, present and future. Each dinner has a new menu based on micro seasonality and the inspiration that comes from working with great local products. Every dinner will have the same format of snacks, followed by three savory courses and finally dessert.
Specific menus for each dinner will not be written until approximately one week before each scheduled dinner. The nature of living and cooking in the Midwest is that nature is the real boss, and sometimes certain products just aren't available or in season or of the quality that I demand. Some of the menus of past dinner's are posted below. Beverage pairings will also be available for an additional $35 at the event. See you there!
Just a quick addition - our menu for November 29 will be 100% Ovo-lacto vegetarian. There will be dairy and eggs but no other meat products will be used.
