It all started with Vinh Chop Suey in Baden, MO in 1978 where my grandfather first opened the Saint Louis Chop Suey style Chinese eatery. Since the restaurant business runs in the family Kenny Truong decided to open his own restaurants "The Rice House". He opened his first restaurant in April 2011 and the second one in October 2013 both located in Florissant, MO. What we serve here are traditional St. Louis City style fried rice with many new culinary creations using Asian Fusion as the theme. Some of our most popular dishes include The Ultimate St. Paul sandwich, Philly Cheesesteak Wontons, and our famous Gumbo of endless variations (available in the fall/winter seasons only).
