The St. Louis region is facing unprecedented opportunities for investment in workforce development through federal funding programs, Build Back Better and the Good Jobs Challenge. Additionally, changes to the Missouri School Improvement Program will make work-based learning an important component of district accreditation. Our region is at a critical juncture for youth career preparation.
In response to this unprecedented opportunity, STEMSTL will be hosting a Work-Based Learning Summit where educators, employers, and youth development organizations will come together to make STEM development more thriving and equitable for our region’s youth. We will share best practices, identify systemic barriers, and explore opportunities for partnerships and collaboration.
