Comments: The food was nice, and priced at the level I expected. My problem is with the liquor prices. My 21 year old son wanted to experience a very nice bourbon, so we ordered the Parkers' 27 year old bourbon, straight. I have to say, it was a very nice bourbon.
My shock came at the bill; $36.00 for one shot. On the Loop? A $36.00 drink?
I know I did not inquire about the price first,
but I was expecting "high priced," not "outrageous!"
Research shows the bottle to retail at $199.00, so who knows what Mr. Edwards cost is. Anyway, I hope he uses his 900% markup well, since I will never be back, and will never patronize any of his establishments again, and I will also try to convince friends and family of the same.
